Father Time

Many of you have mentioned to me via text, email, social media, or live, “Kim I don’t know how you find the time to do your blog, but I’m so glad you have.” My response to that is, first, THANK YOU for the kind words, but in full disclosure, there are many times I sit down to write and have not a clue what to type. Totally blank…I guess now I understand “writer’s block”.

When I think about finding time to write this little blog each day, I guess I look at it as not finding time to write the blog, but it’s spending more time with Father. As I said, there are times I sit down to write and have not a clue what to say. I literally start typing words/sentences and it comes together. That my friends, is simply God at work.

I know our days are crazy, I know we’re all slammed busy and we are struggling just to keep our heads above water some days. But, have you ever thought about how busy God is? I mean really, he’s listening to prayers from hundreds of millions of people, he’s intervening where he needs to, he’s working miracles, he’s showing incredible patience, through how many time zones?! Ok, seriously though, think about it, Father is ALWAYS there for us, he ALWAYS makes time for his children. I think I can take 30 minutes a day and share his love. It’s not much but I hope he’s proud. That’s my goal is to know that he looks down from above and thinks, “This is my child, to whom I am well pleased”.

So, take a moment each day, before it gets crazy, and maybe even after the craziness has subsided, just to be with Father. Share your hopes, and your fears, and at the end of the day, share your thanks. He has blessed us all my friends, and he wants just a little more time with us each day 🙂

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plan, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
