Yesterday as we worked our way through the final setup of our annual conference I watched our attendees start to filter into the hotel. The hugs, and the shouts of joy as they saw each other, well that was pretty ongoing throughout the day.
It always amazes me the bond that has formed with these individuals. They’ve become friends, but really it’s so much more. I’ve seen how our members take care of each other, they lift each other up, they support, they carry each other, they laugh, they cry, and they are incredible.
Just more blessings to be thankful for as I look out across the meeting space to see so many friends reunite.
I look forward to the next few days. I know that Father is with us and he will guide us. I tend to think that Father is smiling seeing his children be there for each other, I know I am.
Thank you Father for being in our midst and showing us the light of coming together. May we make you proud this week Father.
