As you all know yesterday was my husband’s birthday. Thank you all for sending special wishes. We are so humbled, by so many people who he has never formally met, wishing him a Happy Birthday! We are blessed indeed.

Last night we went to dinner at our favorite restaurant, The Oyster Society on Marco. It’s one of the most amazing places. The food is awesome, the staff is off the charts, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s just perfect. We had dinner with several friends, talking, sharing, laughing, and celebrating.

Father has blessed us. I can’t tell you why, I just know that we are blessed with the most amazing family and friends. And…we have friends who have become family. We are here to help each other, to support and to lift each other in whatever the need may be. We celebrate life’s moments and we dig in when things are tough. We are God’s children, and we are one.

Today, I simply say Thank You Father for your amazing love and your gift to us of family and friends. Most importantly I say Thank you for your dear Son Jesus. He is the true gift to us all, one that I never want to take for granted.

Friends, today I say Celebrate. Celebrate your family, celebrate your friends, and celebrate our Lord who has blessed us all beyond measure. Even in difficult times, there are things to be thankful for, just take a moment to look.
