If You Just Believe

We all have our favorite Christmas movies, Miracle on 34th Street, It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, Elf, there are so many to choose from. One of my favorites is Polar Express. The story, of course, is wonderful but it’s the music or at least one particular song that does it for me. That song is Believe.

In the movie, a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe. Oh, and yes, his doubts about Santa are put to rest as well 🙂 .

The main song of this movie, Believe, is sung by Josh Groban and it is truly wonderful. While it was written for Polar Express, this song is about life. Such a great message and can be related I think to our relationship with Father.

The message of hope and believing is so strong around Christmas time, and it needs to be in us and coming from us all year long. God gave his Son to us on Christmas, and on Good Friday, he sacrificed his Son for us. I believe that we will indeed see him again in paradise.

So, as you enjoy your coffee and ready yourself for work, school, or whatever else is on your schedule today, take a short moment to listen to this amazing song, I apologize ahead of time that it will be running through your head all day! Oh, and… Believe 🙂

John 14:1
Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.
