I suppose we all do this right, dream at night. Actually, we all dream about different things even while wide awake, but that’s for another day. In this little blog post today, I’m just talking about those dreams at night.

I think I’ve mentioned before that I’m a very light sleeper, and I’m not very good about sleeping for long periods, much less through the night. I tend to wake up several times during the evening which is a bummer but I’m used to it. Well, last night was no different, and I actually rolled over and looked at the clock about an hour before the alarm went off. Ya, you all know that feeling, ugh, will I get back to sleep now for the next hour?

I did fall back asleep, pretty soundly actually, so soundly that I went into a very detailed dream. I’m not here to discuss the dream because quite honestly, I’m not sure what to make of it yet. I will tell you though at the end of the dream I was holding this large bird, and I remember clearly walking on a dock. I looked down at the bird in my hands as I walked towards the water and then thought, let him go. I pushed the bird up into the air and he flew off into the blue sky, and I woke up, looking at the clock, five minutes before the alarm went off. Hmmm…

If you remember, I mentioned a dream in this little blog a few days ago, when I heard the name Elizabeth. And, yesterday while listening to a podcast the host was talking about how he is having vivid dreams recently. A friend of mine shared with me just last week how she has had some pretty clear dreams happening. Interesting isn’t it. Could this be Father working through all of his children? As we put the craziness of our days to rest, in the quiet of the night, is this Him giving us scenes to make us think? I know it has had me thinking recently, and I’m spending time talking with him to understand what this message may be.

I took a moment to write down what I saw in that little dream this morning, and I’ll ask Father to help me understand what the message might be. Maybe I’m just making too much of this, I’m not sure. I just think it’s interesting that I’ve been having dreams more frequently, and others around me are as well.
