Through the Cray Cray

I guess the title of today’s little blog kind of says it all, doesn’t it. There doesn’t seem to be a day that goes by right now when I don’t hear someone say, “What a crazy day”. Weird things are happening for certain. For instance, yesterday here in Florida, near Tampa there was hail 3″ in diameter? Like seriously?! The Aurora Borealis appeared all across the U.S. the evening before last, it was simply an amazing sight! Then over this past weekend, rare Asperatus wave clouds were seen in New Hampshire, those were amazing as well. Flip to news coverage, whoa wait, when you go there, you find two very popular news personalities from competing stations are let go on the same day, again the cray, cray.

For certain there are a ton of distractions these days. Things are unsettled, and let’s face it, some days lately are just strange, odd, weird, whatever you want to call it, ya like cray cray. The distractions of this world though have always been here, and at times they are very irritating. Yesterday I had my share of them that’s for sure, and at one point I messaged a group of friends to help me get Satan out of the way. I openly asked Father to step in and lend a hand. That’s when one of my friends offered to come over and sprinkle Holy Water around me 🙂 . Ya, I have some great friends!!

The craziness or distractions of this world, I don’t believe are going anywhere. However, how we react or actually don’t react to them is what is important. I do believe that Satan is doing his best to keep us off balance, to keep us unsettled, it’s what he does very well. The more unsettled and off balance you are, the less focused you become, and before you know it, you are down into the crazy and totally forgetting about the one relationship that will keep you calm and settled. Yep, been there, done that! How often I’ve gone down that rabbit hole and left Father standing outside going, “Hello, where are you going?’.

In today’s cray cray, it’s more important than ever that we don’t get wrapped up there. We truly have to dig in deeper and ask God to stand next to us for that strength and guidance that will keep us calm and focused. I know, I know, easier said than done sometimes. But hey, we are all here together to help remind each other to stop, take a moment to say a prayer, and ask for Him to calm the cray cray.

So today friends, who knows what’s next? I don’t even want to venture a guess. I think instead I’ll spend a little time with Father to start the day and ask for Him to guide me. God is with us, and we are here for each other, and whatever the day brings, we will overcome 🙂 . Have a great day my friends!

John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
