As we celebrate today the gift of moms, I wanted to just offer this prayer. Being a mother is one of the most treasured gifts that God gives us. There is really nothing like it, well, maybe being a grandmother, but that’s for another day 🙂 . I’m blessed with two beautiful and amazing daughters. On this Mother’s Day, I simply say to them, I love you, Heidi and Lauren, words can never express the depth of that love.

To all Mothers on this special day, I lift this prayer.

Heavenly Father, I come to you today to simply ask that you bless all mothers across this world. The gift of motherhood is one of your most precious gifts. I ask that you give strength and wisdom to mothers as their job is never done, no matter the age of their children. Bless them with continued abilities to counsel and guide their children. Give them rest when they are weary. Help all mothers Lord to know that through the challenges of motherhood, You Father are with us. Father thank you for the gift of mothers everywhere, may we always strive to be like Mary, the mother of Your Son Jesus. In you precious name I pray. Amen
