Well, this morning I found that like many over the past several months, my FB account had been hacked. A new profile of myself had been set up and already had eight new friends, ugh! Once I got past the initial anger, yes I was mad, but once I got past that, I started to actually feel sad. What has happened to people? Why in the world would anyone think it’s ok to violate the privacy and security of another person? Why is this accepted? Worse yet, how did we get to this point where, if it happens, we all know the steps instantly on how to “fix” it. You see it every day on social media, “I was hacked don’t accept a friend request from me”, “I was hacked, changing my password now”. Sorry friends, this is simply just wrong.
I jokingly said in my FB post letting everyone know, not to accept a friend request from me, I jokingly said I would say a prayer for those doing the hacking. Well, that was silly, why was I joking. So, I sat down and did indeed say a prayer for those doing evil like this. I asked Father to speak to their hearts, to help them come to Him to help them use their skills for good and not for evil.
Just imagine what could happen if all these hackers, scammers, and phishing artists, my gosh if they turned their lives to helping and using those skills for good, what a different world we would live in. So, here’s my suggestion, the next time something like this happens to you, I encourage you to stop and say a prayer for those perpetrating the action, ask Father to speak to their hearts, to guide them to Him. Let’s start doing what we can, through prayer, to change evil to good. God hears our prayers friends, and I’m guessing praying to change evil to good in mass, hmmm Father may look extra hard at those prayers 🙂 .
Well, just a little rant this morning friends. I do hope we can collectively start to change the thoughts and hearts of those who have chosen to use their skills in the wrong way. They have talent, that is clear, so start hacking for good 🙂 . Happy Saturday everyone!
