Yep, starting a new week already. Like many people I’m guessing, I tend to not sleep as well on Sunday evenings. As I head to bed, my mind starts drifting to all the things I need to do on Monday. Well, last night was true to form, lol. I found myself awake earlier than usual this morning and my mind was clicking through my to-do list.

I think I’ve mentioned before, when that happens I try to just talk with Father to settle my mind and drift back off to sleep. Well last night, or should I say early this morning, I kept hearing the Lord’s Prayer over and over in my head. It made me wonder if there were others out there that could benefit from hearing this prayer as we start the day and week.

So, whether you were up earlier than usual this morning, or whether you had a great night’s sleep, I don’t think you can ever say this special prayer too much 🙂 .

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil
For think is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen
