It really is you know, ok to ask. Sometimes in this life, we get so wrapped up in the world around us that we forget we’re not alone. Not only does Jesus walk right beside us every day, but we also have each other to help lift us when we may fall.

A few nights ago I had one of my usual nights of sleep, which was little. However, not long before I got up I found myself in a dream and it was pretty vivid. I was literally kneeling at the feet of Jesus, he was so clear in this dream. I don’t remember exactly what I said but I just remember how clear he looked. He was there, right there with me, just like He always is.

Over the past few days since that dream, I’ve found that my prayers to Father have changed some. Instead of asking for guidance or strength, I’m asking Jesus to stay by my side. I’m praying for Him to open my heart and my mind to feel His presence with me each day.

This morning as I sat down to write this little blog I just found myself wanting to share how close I feel Father is with us these days. I think satan knows this too, and he’s working overtime to make us feel that we’re alone. Now more than ever, I realize it’s ok to just ask Jesus to be with us, walk next to us, and be our best friend.

Friends as we begin the day I just ask that you spend a little time with Father this morning. Let’s pray for each other, for Jesus to continue to walk next to us, strengthen us, and guide us through this life we live.
