A friend of mine posted on social media just the other day “Prayers up for everyone who needs them. (that means prayers for everybody because we all need them)” It was such a simple post, but my goodness it was so spot on. We all need prayers at one time or another, and it shouldn’t take a tragedy, health scare, or natural disaster to bring us to the point of asking for them.

Just a simple post in this little blog today friends, a prayer for everyone today, because as my friend says, we all need them.

Father, please be with us your children today. For those who are battling medical issues, if it is your will, please heal and strengthen their bodies. If they are hurting from a loss, please Father bring peace to their hearts so that they may know you are right there beside them. Father, please be with those who may be alone or feel lost, wrap your loving arms around them so that they might feel the warmth of your unending love. Father, please be with your children today, guide us, protect us, and help us to rise together to be children you are proud of. We thank you Father for all the gifts of this life, especially the gift of your Son Jesus. May we never take this gift for granted and may we strive every day to be more like Him. In the name of your Son Jesus, we pray dear Father.
