Well, friends here it’s the start of a new week, as usual, I’m guessing we are all kind of wondering where the weekend went. Actually, if you are like me you are wondering where the heck the days are going, shew time passes way too quickly, but that is for another little blog 🙂 .

Not sure about you but I didn’t sleep the best last night, and this morning I gave serious thought to heading back to try and grab another hour of sleep. I pondered how to arrange my morning to accommodate it but I decided it was best to push through that desire.

As I was thinking about making the walk back to my cozy bed, and thought about juggling my routine, I also thought about this little blog. If I grabbed that hour of sleep, when would spend time with this little blog, what would I write about, etc. Well, that kind of sorted itself out pretty quickly when Father planted the seed to say, um, you kind of have your topic already, your living it at the moment, you’re pushing through a desire to just set things aside. Ahhh, got it Father, and so here I am at my keyboard.

Yes friends, I know there are many days, many times in our lives when we want to just set it all aside, we want to turn away from what we have to do. There are times when we don’t want to face a task at hand or a situation in front of us. That’s where Father provides us with the strength, we just need to ask Him to stand with us and guide us. Ask Him to be next to us, ask to feel His presence as we face whatever it may be, even something as simple as not crawling back into bed 🙂 .

As I’ve said in this little blog many times, Father never promised that our life here on this earth would be a cakewalk, He never promised easy. What He has promised is that He will be with us always, even until the end. So as you face whatever you have to face today, I hope you take a moment to ask Father, ask Jesus to be there, to guide and strengthen you. Then, just take a moment to feel that presence and before you know it, you’re pushing through what you didn’t want to face.

I’m glad I bypassed going back to bed and instead came here to share. Have a great day my friends 🙂 .
