Ya, I think we all know there are times when satan takes great pleasure in getting under our skin, in our head, and just all up in our business. He takes great pleasure in watching us doubt, fear or blame. He does a happy dance when he realizes he’s that instead of turning to Father, we turn to the emotions I mentioned above.

I’ve seen him doing his happy dance lately, he’s danced around my head and I’m sure many of you can share instances as well. This morning as I sat down to talk with Father, I prayed that He strengthen me and that I might be filled with His love and not succumb to my feelings. Yes, I simply prayed, “Father Thy Will be Done”. Before I could even think, the words of His most precious prayer came out. This my friends is what we need today, this is what plays havoc with satan’s little happy dance. He despises us when we turn to Father and not to him.

Let’s lift a prayer this morning, and eliminate the music and the dance floor for satan to happy dance around our lives.

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever.
Amen
