It’s August in SW FL so you’d probably think that the title of today’s little blog means something about the weather right? Well, we could use some rain here but no not the case.

Actually, I’ve been talking with different friends lately who are going through some things. Some days are difficult and as they say, the struggle is real. We all have times in our lives when we wonder how we will get through, wonder if we are strong enough to endure. Those are the times, the times when we are weakest that satan slides right on in. When we are weakest he swoops in to help you feed on those feelings.

It’s at those times my friends, those very times when we need to dig deeper into our relationship with Father. When you feel your lowest, feel you’re most vulnerable, stop, stop, and talk with God. He is strength and He will give us the strength we need. Yes, even strength to overcome the rain and the storms that will come through our lives.

This song by MercyMe, (yes you all know, one of my fav groups), this song speaks to those difficult times we go through. There will be pain, and there will be dark days, but God’s promise is that He will bring us through those times. He gave us His only Son to suffer a brutal death FOR us, to give us eternal life with Him.

So yes friends, there will be difficult days in our lives, and there will be rain, however, we are stronger than we think. You may have to dig a little deeper some days, but dig deeper with Father. Stop, talk with Him, ask him to clear the clouds and the rain, and to help you see the brightness that only He can bring.
