Saturday morning, it’s early friends. Um, like I’m sitting here at 3:30 a.m. writing this here little blog. That’s because I’m leaving in an hour to go help at our church’s annual fishing tourney. This is the 11th Annual event and holy cow is it like the biiiiigggg deal!
I told my husband last night that even though I have to be out the door today when I’m normally getting up, why is it that when it happens on a weekend it’s ok? I don’t mind being up at this hour. As you all know, it gives me some quiet time with father before the world is stirring around me. Heck, at this time of the morning, there isn’t much stirring 🙂 .
Well, I guess the point of the little blog today is that we will make time for what is important to us, regardless of what time of day that may occur. I love to fish. I love the ocean water. I love to be out on the ocean where Father is so incredibly present with me. I don’t really care if I catch any fish, (well a few would be nice), I just love the water, the sea air, and the chance to be with God in the most amazing place.
Friends, make time today for the important things. Make time today to spend time with your kids or grandkids. Make time today to immerse yourself in a craft. Make time today to finish that wonderful book you started months ago. Make time today to enjoy time with Father, thanking him for the gift of time.
Of course, my friends, make time to simply talk with Father each and every day, multiple times a day. You all know how I feel about that. Father is my best friend and I talk to him in that manner each day. Today, I’ll spend a little quality time doing that on the water.
I wish you an amazing day my friends. Please continue to lift prayers for that sweet little Maevryn baby, she is a big-time fighter!! May Father fill you with his love and spirit today!
