If you are like me you think back on times when you probably didn’t make the best decisions in your life. Oh, ya I had some doozies. I found myself this morning wondering how my life might have been if those decisions oh so long ago were different.

I reminded myself, we can’t go backward in this life, we can only move forward. And…I think things happen in our lives for a reason. We are here to learn and grow through all the decisions and choices that we make. After all, long ago Father gave us free will. Remember the saying, “Be careful what you wish for”.

Well, the good thing is, Father also knew when He gave us free will that we would have difficult times ahead. He also has incredible patience and incredible unconditional love for us. He forgives and He is there to guide us when we stumble.

I thought I’d share this song this morning, just for the fun of it. It’s a toe-tapper and has a great message. So, don’t look backward my friends, even though you might want to turn back time. Move forward knowing that Father is here with us. Move forward, dive deep into that relationship with Father, and know that the decisions of the past were just stepping stones to growth.
