Some days I think it’s best to just say little prayers. This morning when I was sitting on the patio, (in my sweatshirt, jeans and fuzzy slippers, yes it’s cold here), I was thinking about things I wanted, and needed to do today. Typical Saturday chores like going to the grocery store for instance come to mind. However, I also want to spend some time with a fairly intense paint by number project I would like to complete in 2024.

As usual, things this morning have already derailed my initial plans, (hence why this little blog is being posted later than usual). After these few distractions I realized, I think I’ll be saying little prayers today to Father to help keep me focused. Sometimes we just need to say little prayers for guidance and focus. Father listens to all prayers not just our “heavy duty” prayers. You know, He answers those little prayers and we may not even realize it.

I also think when we take the opportunity to say little prayers we tend to build a more personal relationship with God. You know kind of like talking to a good friend when you’re on a trip together. You have little conversations about things that you may not normally discuss when you are just checking in on the phone for instance. 

So friends, today, just take the opportunity, like I will, to say little prayers to Father, or to just have those simple conversations with Him. Spend time sharing, confiding, and yes asking for guidance to stay focused. Feel your relationship with Him strengthen, and feel your own strength increase.
