Taking the Wheel

A few friends reached out to me after reading yesterday’s little blog. I guess I’m not alone in some of the situations I’m finding myself in, truly needing Father’s guidance I mean. I think in all the challenges we face in life there comes a time when you really have to relinquish things to Father. You have to allow yourself to let Him lift the burden so that you can see a way forward. I think this goes for whatever the situation, no matter how big or small. Too many times we try to do things on our own, not bringing Father in from the beginning. Is it because we’re doing what we think, vs. having God show us what to do? In my case, ya, that’s a big affirmative 🙂 . I’m a little type A personality so you could say sometimes it’s not easy to step back and accept that help.

Well friends, as I said yesterday, when faced with challenges, situations, or difficulties, some of which I know Father has me in for a reason, we have to turn over the wheel and let Him drive for a bit. We need to let Him guide us and show us the road ahead. And…we need to believe that we CAN do what He is guiding us to do, with His help.

This morning, this song was playing in my head when I woke up. I’m guessing Father may have planted this tune there for a reason, it’s pretty good timing for sure. Just a little reminder to let us know, we aren’t alone and it’s ok to let Father take that wheel for a bit.

Have a great day friends 🙂 .

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
