INSPIRASUNS

I woke up early this morning. Big deal you say. Well, if you’ve read this little blog much, you know that I usually like to sleep in a bit on Saturdays. This morning though I’m heading out to our local farmer’s market. We’ve lived here many years and I’ve yet to go to it. Yes, in Florida, especially SW Florida, our farmer’s markets are in the winter.

Anyway, I got up early, went out to chat with Father, and noticed the sky as the sun was rising. I left my usual spot on the lanai and walked outside to catch a glimpse of the horizon more clearly. The sky was beautiful, even with the 49-degree temps 🙂 . The steam was rising off our lake, the birds were active and chatting, and it was such a peaceful scene. Just a perfect way to start the day. 

It was easy to give thanks to Father this morning, the beauty around me made His gifts unmistakable. We are so blessed friends, it’s humbling to know just how blessed we are. Sunrises, sunsets, mountains, beaches, and local farmers who want to share their talents 🙂 .

Well, I’m off to do some shopping for the week. I’m looking forward to meeting some local farmers, and bakers, oh and I know there is some great coffee there too 🙂 . I’ll take some pictures and share them tomorrow. Friends, take some time today and shop at your local businesses, they make our communities strong.
