Guided by Father

Don’t you love it when a plan comes together? I’ve said it so many times before in this little blog, I’m blessed to know so many wonderful people in this world, people with hearts the size of Texas πŸ™‚ .

Over the past several weeks as we’ve been finalizing our “Art of Giving” event I’ve seen the true heart of so many. Individuals who simply give of themselves. As I said yesterday, I’ve seen God’s children helping God’s children. Our world needs so much more of this.

What I’ve learned not just over the last few weeks and months, but what I’ve learned over the last many years is that when we let Father guide us, we can do some pretty incredible things. When we put Him first, then it’s His love and His works that are coming through us.

Last night as I looked around at all the people who came together to support the sixteen charities receiving grants, I realized that it was all guided by Father. I don’t think you can have that kind of support and love for a community without Him being involved. I truly felt God among us last night. Oh, and His help with the gorgeous weather didn’t hurt either πŸ™‚ .

You know, what Father asks of us really isn’t that difficult. He asks us to simply, “Fear Not, Trust in Me”. He asks that we simply, “Love others as I have Loved You”. He has only 10 “rules” that He would like us to follow, and when you think about it, they are pretty common sense things. Yes friends, when we are guided by Father, our lives tend to fall into place.

Thank you to all of you who have reached out to me over the past few days. Your support, kind words of encouragement, and those little “you got this” text messages were soooo appreciated! Have a great day my friends, I’m so thankful for all of you who take just a little time each day to stop by and read this little blog πŸ™‚
