This week there have been a couple of situations that are still nagging at me. Totally unrelated experiences, but yet so similar. These situations involve people, and of course when people are involved so are emotions, feelings, and words, you get the idea. So many times situations can be resolved just by talking things out, and yet we feel it’s “easier” to just let things go.
As I sat this morning chatting with Father, I asked for guidance, not just for my day, but for these two situations that have me pondering the next steps. I prayed that He would help me to know what to do, and I prayed as I always do for guidance with this little blog. His words came back pretty clear this morning, “Share My Love”. Well, ok then, how do I do that when feelings and emotions are involved. Duh, I realized… sharing God’s love is the best way to turn a situation totally upside down, or right side up. Friends, we are all humans, we try to do our best, we make decisions based on what we know, and sometimes we hurt feelings, or have our feelings hurt. I often wonder if Father just puts His head in His hands and thinks, “Here they go again”.
So, today is a new day and a new opportunity to share His love. It’s a new opportunity to change the outcome of these few situations. It’s a good day to open that door of communication and simply share God’s love and understanding. He has a way of making things right.
This earthly life is short and we’re called to be the best we can be while we’re here. With Father’s help, we can do just that. So, if you are going through “situations” like I find myself, take some time to ask for God’s help to change the outcome, and then share His love. I think we’ll find that when we are on the other side, we’ll look back and wonder why we didn’t do something sooner.
Have a great day my friends 🙂 .
