Why is it that we as humans always think we know best? Well, that’s a pretty open-ended question, isn’t it? Yesterday I mentioned here in this little blog that I had a few situations that I’m trying to resolve. These situations are really more just misunderstandings and the best way to handle those is to just talk.
However, if only one party is willing to do so, well then it’s a pretty one-sided conversation. Don’t get me wrong, I have many conversations with myself, and most of the time they are pretty pleasant π .
My point though is that we can offer grace, we can offer love, we can offer humility however if the other party is not willing to accept it, we certainly can’t force it. This morning during my daily chat with Father, I realized just how He must feel every day. He offers His love and grace to us each day, and He gives us the free will to either accept it or not. That is our choice. I also realized the pain He feels when we choose not to accept the gifts He gives.
Father knows that if we choose to come to Him and live a life in His holy ways, then the relationship with Him will be strong and unbreakable. If He were to force us to obey Him, like satan does, there would eventually be a break in that relationship. Forcing someone to do something does not build trust or loyalty. So, Father lets us choose, and when we choose Him, the benefits are amazing.
At the end of the day friends, we cannot force another to accept what we want to give. Whether that gift is physical, an apology, a gift of love, whatever it may be, we cannot force, we can only offer. When that gift is accepted, only then can we build on the relationship.
So, keep the doors of acceptance wide open in this life. Don’t let satan help you close those doors. He likes nothing better than to keep us behind those closed doors so that no light shines in. Open the doors and accept the love and grace that others offer, just like the love and grace that Father offers us each day.
Have a great day friends π .

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
