This morning I sat down to write this little blog and was putting together some thoughts in my head, (dangerous I know right?). I had a few notes on some things to share and began to organize them. I glanced out my office window, which looks down onto a curve in the street of our cul-de-sac. I could see one of our neighbors coming around the bend walking his sweet fur baby named Princess. You all know how I love the fur babies in the neighborhood ๐ . I remembered that my husband said I missed seeing Princess last night as he was grilling, I admit I was bummed.
Anyway, I jumped up from my desk this morning and made my way downstairs. I had to roll the garbage can in anyway I told myself. I opened the garage door just as Princess was walking her “human” past our driveway. She saw me and immediately drug him over to me. She is just the sweetest little thing. She came over and layed down with her head on my toes saying, “Ok, here I am, commence with the loving please”. As I pet her and gave her the infamous belly rubs I commented on just how sweet she is. She nuzzled up to me and gave me the smooch on the cheek and all I could think was how freely she gave her love.
We could learn much from our furbabies, whether they be dogs or cats. I have to admit, I’m not sure why Father gave them to us, companionship yes, however maybe it is more. Maybe Father gave us these wonderful creatures so we could learn from them. I mean think about it…they are loyal, they are loving, they are fierce protectors when needed, they freely share their love. Sounds a little like what Father does for us ๐ .
Well, whatever the reason, I’m so glad Father blessed us with the wonderful animals. Have a great day my friends and hey, if you have furbabies, give them some extra lovin’ today ๐ .
