Stop and Be a Photographer

I continue to be blessed with messages or comments from friends about this little blog. People look forward to reading it each morning, and many have commented on what an inspiration it is. Well, we can all thank Father for that as He helps the words flow into this little space each day. I like to think that this little blog is doing its little part to bring Father’s message to anyone who might want to hear it.

What I’ve noticed, especially over the last few months, is that people are stopping more to take pictures of the sunrises or sunsets. Followers of this little blog are sending me some amazing pictures with comments like, “Beautiful one here tonight”, which was from my granddaughter last night. Oh, and her picture just happens to be the cover of today’s little blog. Yes, people are actively stopping to notice God’s creation. The beauty of a sunrise or a sunset. They send the pictures to me to use in this little blog.

I love the images I’m getting from all over the country, and beyond actually, as friends travel around the world. More importantly, though, I love that people are taking time to enjoy the beauty that Father shows us each day. We get so wrapped up in our day-to-day lives that it’s easy to miss the simple gifts right in front of us. So, to see more people stop and enjoy it, well, that makes me happy.

So my friends, take some time, stop and be a photographer. Capture the beauty of what’s around you. It doesn’t have to be a sunrise or a sunset, maybe it’s a flower, a pasture of cows and their baby calves, a lake with mist coming off it at dawn, whatever it is, stop and capture the image. Then, give thanks to Father for the gift of his creation and the beauty He shows us each day.

Thank you, my friends, for your encouragement, for your wonderful comments, and for your beautiful pictures. Keep those pictures coming as together we grow closer in our relationship with Father, and together we enjoy His most wonderful gifts. Have a great day everyone 🙂 .
