See with Your Heart

There are times in our lives when things happen and leaning on faith is truly what will get you through. Maybe that was kind of like a “duh” statement. I pretty much share that message every day here in this little blog.

When I think about the time when Jesus was alive, the people who watched him perform miracles, the lame to walk, the demons driven out of the possessed, the blind made to see, what must they have thought. We know through the accounts in the Bible that many were amazed and believed. However, even though He told his disciples that He must die a horrible death, and would be raised from the dead in three days, they didn’t believe when He actually did it. They didn’t have the faith. Don’t misunderstand, I totally get it, they were human and that was a pretty amazing statement. Then of course, when they saw Jesus, and talked with Him, they believed and the rest so they say, is history.

Faith requires us to see with our hearts, not with our eyes. It requires us to believe in a Father so powerful that He created the sun, the moon the earth and all that is here. A Father so loving that He gave His only Son to die for us, that we might have the opportunity to live with Him in eternity. Faith requires us to believe in something that we have not physically seen with our eyes. It requires us to open our hearts, to trust, and to believe in His love and power.

I don’t know about you, but seeing with my heart, putting my total trust and belief in Father, well, there is simply nothing I would rather do. I’ve seen what He can do with faith and with prayer.

So friends, whatever you may be going through in your life, I just encourage you to open your heart, and let it see the love of Father. Let your heart feel His presence in your life every day. Dig into those feelings and turn them into a deep loving relationship with Him. You may not physically see Him with your eyes, but your heart will see Him clearly.

Have a great day everyone 🙂

John 20:29
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed”.
