It’s a pretty simple question really. If you work in the retail business or service industry of any type, this is a common question all day long. What can I do for you today? Another that goes hand in hand with this question is, “How may I help you today?”.
As I had my morning chat with Father, I asked the question as I normally do, “What message would you like me to share in the little blog today?”. Then without even thinking what rolled off my tongue next was, “What can I do for you today Father?”. What I heard in my head next was, “How may I help you today?”. Hmmm, I guess that is the message for this little blog this morning.
I think it’s a good question to ask Father each and every day. “What can I do for you today Father?”. Of course what I mean by this is, how can I do His work, how can I show His love, how can I help others see His love through me. If we take a few moments as we begin the day to ask this question, and then wait for the answer, truly wait for Him to respond, then we have our marching orders so to speak.
Today, I’ll be making an effort to ask others, “How may I help you today?”. I’ll be looking for ways to truly help others, however small the task may seem to be. Sometimes the simplest of tasks make a big difference in someone else’s day.
So friends, I just encourage you to look for opportunities to help others today. Take a moment to ask how you can help, and then take the time to listen for the answer. Show Father’s love in giving that assistance. You might just be surprised that in serving others you find joy in your heart. After all, God loves a cheerful giver 🙂 .
Have a great day my friends!
p.s. Thanks to my granddaughter Dakota DuVall for the awesome sunset picture from last night, the cover of today’s little blog 🙂 .

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
