As more information comes out about the events of yesterday afternoon, the assassination attempt on President Trump, I suspect many are, like me asking, “What has our nation fallen to?”. The deliberate disrespect of human life, the division, and more importantly the total stepping away from Father in our everyday lives.

I’m guessing there will be some who may read this little blog today and be offended, however, some things are in my heart that I feel Father is asking me to let out. We have come to a point where it is ok and even celebrated to kill a child. How does this happen? We have come to a point where there are, by the latest estimates, over 500,000 children who have come across our border and are now missing…gone. Most likely those children are now into sex trafficking rings, or worse. How does this happen? We have come to a point where people find it offensive to even discuss the Bible. How does this happen? We cannot even have a simple discussion without fear that we will offend or upset someone. How does this happen? Our government is totally dysfunctional, where politicians spend more time fighting with each other than doing what they were elected to do, follow the will of the people that put them there. How does this happen? It happens when God’s children walk away from Him and allow satan to step in and run freely. Satan laughs at what we have become.

There is not a single man that is going to save this nation. Trust me that is not a political statement. I don’t care which candidate you support, they are just a man. It is only by us, God’s children turning back to Him that will allow this nation to heal. It is only by putting Father back into the very center of everything that is done in this country that will allow us to live in total freedom. It is only by asking Father for forgiveness that we as a nation can move forward in love, respecting our fellow man and respecting every single life.

Friends, we are so much better than this. We need to set aside the blue side and the red side and get back to being, Red, White, and Blue. More importantly, we need to have Father in the middle of that rebuilding.

Prayers lifted this morning for the individual who was killed yesterday and the several who were injured. Prayers lifted for President Trump that he may heal. Prayers lifted for this great nation that God will show His children the way back to Him and to each other.
