What I know more than anything about this little blog is that whenever I have come here over the past few years with a prayer request, you all are there. I have come here different times requesting prayers for individuals and there has been some pretty miraculous healing that has occurred following those prayers. I’ve said before, I think when a large number of prayers are being lifted to heaven for the same cause, they tend to be louder in Father’s ears 🙂 .
So friends, this morning I come to you requesting prayers for an older sweet friend of ours. She took a spill last night and bumped her head. We are pretty sure she is going to be fine, the last reports from the ER last night is that they were waiting on the results from scans they did. She will need some stitches and is going to be pretty sore. She’s a feisty one and was joking with the EMS crew as they were helping her, so that is a good sign.
Life is so fragile my friends, and it saddens me that in these times where we, God’s children are finding so many faults with each other, we are missing so much. My goodness we are not so different, despite the picture the news may try to paint. We are human beings, we have an inner love and compassion for all. We just need to do a better job of letting that love and compassion out for others to see. Stop seeing left, right, blue, red, black, white, and start seeing the human being in front of you or at your side. Lend a hand, give an encouraging word, or just show a simple smile, start somewhere.
This morning friends, please lift prayers for healing for Judy. Let Father hear a resounding chorus this morning that He will wrap His healing arms around her and provide quick recovery.
Thank you my friends. Let’s take just a moment today to show our inner love and compassion where we can 🙂 .
James 5:16
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
