An Army

Friends, thank you so much for answering my call for prayers yesterday for a sweet friend’s niece. The search for Emily Rea is still ongoing in the West Glacier area of Montana. If you missed reading yesterday’s little blog, you can find it HERE.

This morning as I once again lifted prayers to Father for Emily, He reminded me of how His army of prayer warriors came together yesterday.  He reminded me of just how strong we are.  Not long after I posted my little blog, I started to get text messages from friends who were sharing the flyer I posted.  The social media post was filled with comments from friends from all over the country who began to pray. Another friend sent me a message saying that she had a network for business professionals who were gathering in Glacier National this weekend for a retreat, they will be watching for Emily, and many had already printed the flyer and taken it to local hospitals.  This is God’s army in action.

Friends, in situations like this, it becomes increasingly harder to keep hope as the days and nights move by. That is what satan counts on.  He counts on Father’s children becoming weak and then losing hope and giving up.  That loss of hope is what moves us further from Father. As God’s army was on the move yesterday, so was satan and his minions. A little crack in our armor and the evil one sneaks in with just a little hint of doubt, and then just watches that doubt grow. STOP I say to you satan. You will not defeat this army of God.

We must continue to lean in as hard as we can to Father. Lift prayers continuously, especially when the hint of losing hope appears. When you feel that, lift the prayer to Father. He is watching and, He hears these prayers, and He is protecting His army and Emily. Remember Jesus’ words to us so many times in the Bible, “Fear Not for I am with you”.

Thank you, friends, for mobilizing in prayer yesterday, I simply ask that you continue to pray and pray with intention for the rescue of Emily Rea. Father, hear our prayers!

Thank you also to my friend Joey Waves for the cover photo of this morning’s blog, sunrise here in Naples this morning.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
