Over the last few years, this little blog has become more than I initially intended. At first, I thought I would just share a picture of a beautiful sunrise or sunset along with a scripture verse. I did that for a while and over time I began to share more personal thoughts and more about my relationship with Father. It’s now become a place where I come each day to share ways in which I feel I see Jesus at work in my day-to-day life.
As I’ve mentioned before, there are days when I will draw a complete blank on what to write or share. There are times when, well, I got nothin’. That used to stress me out, I used to feel pressure to write something. I ask Father each day what message He would like me to share, and yes, there are days when I don’t feel or hear anything. Just recently I realized, that those times are indeed times when Father is sharing the message with me because I think there are times when He wants us to just be. Here’s what I mean, there are times I think when we are to just take a small break and let our minds be blank. Our minds and our bodies need “time off” so to speak.
This morning, I woke up earlier than usual on a Saturday. My mind is filled with some final details for our large event at church tomorrow. I sat down with Father and asked what message I could share, and what came back to me was one of my favorite songs. Now, I have to admit, I have no idea why this song popped into my head, but, hey, I’m going with it. Actually, I think it was God’s way of saying, “Take a break, enjoy some music, and let me handle things”. One of those days when my mind needs a little time off I guess.
So friends, whatever you’re doing today I hope you too can take a break, enjoy some music, and let Father handle things for a bit. I’ll even provide the start of the music for you below. You can thank me later for leaving this song in your head for the rest of the day. I mean, it is the month of September don’t ya know 🙂 . Have a great day friends!
Revelation 21:3
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
