I saw a little sign this morning on a friends social media page. The sign read: Good Morning. It’s a good day to start a good week. Happy Monday!

I think it was a tiny little gift from Father. Today is going to be a very busy day, as we move all of the furniture from our Sunday school rooms and our thrift store. My mind has been in about 100 places already this morning, and this little message well it just put a smile on my face!

So, in addition to that little sign, I’ll share this prayer that I read this morning as well. Together, let’s make it a good day to start a good week.

Lord, as I start this new week, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of life and the opportunities that lie ahead.

Lord, I pray for Your guidance and wisdom in the decisions I’ll make this week. Help me to be a light to those around me and to act with love and integrity in all that I do. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may have the strength to face any challenges that come my way.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I surrender this week into Your hands, Lord, and I ask that Your will be done in all aspects of my life. May I bring glory to Your name in everything I undertake!
