Serenity

Just the mention of the word brings a calmness when said. The official definition of the word serenity is; “the state of being calm, peaceful and untroubled”. Well now, don’t we all want that at any given time in our life, or any given time of the day for that matter.

This morning as I was reading a collection of prayers, I came across one for serenity. I just have to say, the words were exactly what I needed to hear this morning, and I’m convinced that Father put them in front of me for a reason. Just another way He provides in simple ways.

This morning I share this prayer for serenity for any who might need it. I hope these words touch you the way the did me. May we all be filled with Father’s unconditional love and peace in our hearts.

Heavenly Father,
In the hush of this Tuesday morning, I come before You, yearning for serenity. The world can be chaotic, and my soul seeks the calmness that only Your embrace can provide. Grant me, O Lord, the serenity to accept the imperfections of life, the courage to nurture inner peace, and the wisdom to find solace in Your presence. I thank you for Your boundless love that brings serenity to my heart. Let Your tranquility wash over me, soothing my restless spirit. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Have a good day my friends, continued prayers for those in NC, TN and FL, and for the return of sweet Emily Rea.

James 3:17-18
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
