Well yes, yes He does. Jesus does love me, He loves everyone regardless of how we may falter. This morning as I sat down to write this little blog, you all know I did what I usually do…asked how best to share His message. However, unlike most mornings, this morning, I didn’t feel or hear anything, hmmm.

I sat for a while just listening, praying, asking, “Lord what message can I share”. The beautiful little song, “Jesus Loves Me This I Know”, came into my head. Now if that isn’t Him sending a message, I’m not sure what is. I haven’t heard that song in decades, and I think the last time I heard it was when I watched the movie “The Bodyguard” when Whitney Houston sang it.

I’m not sure why this song and why this message today, maybe it’s just a simple reminder. I heard something recently from a Christian singer, he had just finished a beautiful song and was speaking to the audience. He said Jesus doesn’t love me because I’m good, Jesus loves me because Jesus is good.

I’m not perfect, I’ve made mistakes, (some doozies), and I continue to make mistakes. I sin in some way every day. But, you know what, every day I do my best to repent, to spend time with Jesus, and ask His forgiveness when I fall. Each day I try to be a little better than the day before.

So, just a simple reminder in this little blog today friends. No, we’re not perfect, but we’re His. If we commit fully to Him, He will help guide our path, and one day we will see perfection. Jesus loves me this I know, and I know He loves you too.
