What If He Doesn’t

This morning as I was spending time with Father, I was praying for guidance for my day ahead. I ask Him every day to help me walk the path He wants me to walk, and to keep my heart open to whatever may come my way.

I began to think about various situations over the past several months. I’ve shared many of them here with you all. Emily Rea who has been missing for many months now, Jim who is struggling with health issues, and those still suffering in North Carolina from Hurricane Helene, these are just a few of the challenges being faced by many. I pray for these people every day, I know that God can “right” the situations so to speak. I know that He knows exactly where Emily Rea is, I know that He has the power to provide a miracle and heal Jim, and I know that He can make supplies and support appear for those in North Carolina. The question is, what if He doesn’t? Does that mean I stop believing, do I stop loving and worshiping our Lord?

We face challenges in our lives, some of which seem too difficult to overcome. Without our belief in Christ, without our relationship with Him, just imagine how difficult the situations would be. I know in my heart that Jesus weeps when we are sad or hurt, and I know that He wants to take the hurt away. The difficult times in our lives are the times when we need to draw closer to Jesus, even if He doesn’t fix what we are going through.

Friends, I share this song with you this morning. It’s one I’ve shared before, and it’s a reminder that no matter what we are going through, God is ALWAYS there for us. Draw close to Him, and ask for strength and guidance through His love.

Have a good day everyone, special thanks to granddaughter Dakota for the sunset picture from the Heartland, the cover of today’s little blog.

Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
