That pretty much sums up my conversation with Father this morning. It’s Monday, and I, like the rest of the world, have a busy week ahead. I’ve already broken my routine of sitting right down here at this little blog as soon as I finish my morning chat with Jesus. I came in and started doing other things… Ugh… Hence the title of this little blog and the prayer I need today, and every day for that matter, “Father guide me in this day that I may do Your will”.
Friends I just figured we could all use this little prayer to start the week and the day. If you’re like me you are probably already off to the races so to speak and I think it’s just important that we take a moment to stop. Give Father the time He deserves, and ask for guidance and clarity as we begin the day and week. Let’s put Him first and I’m pretty confident the week will be just fine. So a little prayer as we begin the week.
Lord, I pray for Your guidance and wisdom in the decisions I’ll make this week. Help me to be a light to those around me and to act with love and integrity in all that I do. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may have the strength to face any challenges that come my way.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I surrender this week into Your hands, Lord, and I ask that Your will be done in all aspects of my life. May I bring glory to Your name in everything I undertake!
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Have a great day my friends, and let Father be you guide 🙂 .
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
