Every now and then I drop a song here in this little blog. Music is such a wonderful way to experience the love of Father and His Son. There are so many talented musicians out there who have a passion for sharing that love. I spend a little time each week looking for new songs that just touch me at the right time. We all have days when we’re out of sorts, feeling down, or struggling with whatever, and it’s then that a song can remind you that Jesus is here, right next to us.

This morning I was listening to a great album by a group I’ve come to really like, Casting Crowns. Not long ago they did a show at the Ryman in Nashville and the music from this show, well it’s just really good. This particular song grabbed me this morning. It’s just so simple and yet the message is so strong, just stop fighting, stop trying to hold on, let go and just be held by Jesus. Let Him hold on to you and strengthen you in all that you are going through.

I share this song, Just Be Held with you all this morning. Even if things in your life are going wonderfully, this is a good reminder that when “stuff” happens, let go, surrender to Him, and let yourself be held.
