INSPIRASUNS

One of the benefits of this fitness journey that I began at the start of the year is that I notice I’m sleeping better. I’ve always been a light sleeper. It drives my husband crazy. He’ll come just to give me a kiss goodnight, thinking I’m asleep, only to startle me out of my light dozing. Well, over the past several weeks I find myself in much deeper sleep patterns, and for much longer periods of time. I’m not waking every two hours looking at the clock. Ahh yes, this is a good thing.

This morning I actually slept until my alarm woke me and it woke me from a pretty deep sleep. It took me a bit to shake the cobwebs out of my head and to get going 🙂 . As I sat outside with Father I even asked Him to please jump-start things for me to get me moving. That did help and I felt myself begin to engage as I talked through my day with Him. As always, I asked Him to guide my day and to be present in all that I do. And…my usual morning question, “What can I share for you today?”. Hmmm, what I heard was interesting, “You’re equipped to do it”. Well, ok then…

I think we are all equipped to do the work the Lord wants us to do. We all have in us a desire to spread His love, to share good with others, to help when needed, we’re equipped indeed.

This morning friends, I share a little prayer as we start the day, that we are equipped to do His will and walk in His ways.

Fill me Lord with the strength I need for today, to walk this walk with You. Help me to do what You’ve called me to do with Your strength, Your wisdom, Your power. Guide me Father. Be a lamp onto my feet lighting up the path for today. Tune my ears up to hear what You’re saying. Keep me steadfast and fixed on You. Lord, send me today and give me everything I need to carry out the call. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
