Midweek Restart

Ah, the middle of the week. Have you ever wondered why they call it hump day? I’m not sure where it started but I guess I get it. Trudging up the hill of the week Monday and Tuesday, standing on top of that hill on Wednesday, then down the back side on Thursday and Friday.

I read a prayer this morning that was specific to Wednesday. It’s a midweek restart you could say. A great way to begin this day that finds us at the top of the hill for the week. It’s a simple prayer and a reminder that our service to others is a reflection of the love Father has for us.

Gracious God, as I embark this Wednesday morning, I dedicate myself to Your service. Use me as an instrument of Your love and compassion so that I may be a blessing to others. Grant me the wisdom to discern the needs of those around me and the humility to serve with a willing heart. Help me to reflect Your character in all my interactions and actions today. In Jesus’ name, I commit myself to Your purpose. Amen.

Enjoy your Wednesday friends, be a blessing to others, serve with a willing heart and make someone smile today. Thanks as always for being here each day, you all are such a blessing to me 🙂 .

Continued prayers friends for the return of sweet Emily Rea.
