INSPIRASUNS

You all know that I spend a little time each morning and evening sitting on my patio, (Lanai in SW Florida terms), chatting with Father. It’s usually dark outside, (especially with the time change last weekend). But on most mornings, the moon is sitting where I can see it. Sorry to say I missed the lunar eclipse early this morning, but the moon was shining bright several hours later as I sat and said my good morning’s to Father.

My time this morning was interesting. I sat down and said my usual good morning, but slipped into a zone of sorts. I leaned back in the chair and without even asking what message could I share, I heard Father say, “Hear me child”. I sat in that zone for several minutes, and kept hearing those words. I did my best to try and relax my body, letting shoulders drop, and a couple of deep breaths. My mind drifted to several places and I found myself refocusing on that bright moon. I didn’t hear anything further, and finished my morning prayers with Him.

I’m not sure why the message of “Hear me child”, was so clear. Perhaps the Lord is just getting my attention. Or, has He been providing answers to prayers but I haven’t been listening? I really can’t explain the feeling or the sense that I had this morning while sitting there. It was different, I felt like He was right there next to me.

I believe that God wants the relationship with all of His children like He had with Adam and Eve. He walked and talked with them each day. He wants us to share everything with Him, (even though He knows all). He wants us to feel so connected to Him that we run to Him with everything, good, bad, and everything in between.

I think my experience this morning was Him reminding me that He wants that time with me, and wants me to listen. Father, answers prayers my friends, we just have to be willing and open to hear Him when he does. Be open to listening, run to Him with everything, and let Him take it from there 🙂 .
