Sometimes it’s the hardest thing to hear, “It’s not about me”. However, sometimes we need to remind ourselves of that very thing. There are things that happen in this life, there are things we don’t want to happen, life throws curve balls, and we get frustrated. That is, well that is simply this thing we call life.

I’ve learned over my many years here on this earth that there will always be unexpected things that happen. Goodness knows I’ve lived through many of them. What I have to keep reminding myself is that this life I live, well it’s not mine, it belongs to Father and it is only by Father’s grace that I am here to begin with 🙂 . He created me and He alone knows when my earthly life will end. The time in between me being born and leaving this earthly place is His time not mine. I’m here to do my best to serve Father by sharing His love and bringing others to know Him as I have. It’s not about me.

We’re blessed in this life with family and friends, those too are from Father, basically on loan to us. While we have those gifts, we should cherish them, handling them responsibly and loving them as Jesus loved us.

Friends, this life is so short, relatively speaking. We, (present company included), tend to focus on the “why’s” of things happening rather than taking the opportunity to understand. We tend to let ourselves focus on the “me” part of the equation. It’s not about me, it’s about Father and if we put Him first in all situations, the rest will take care of itself.

Have a good day friends and go out and enjoy this wonderful spring day. Father has gifted it to us, accept the gift and focus on Him.
