Funny about the Lord’s creation. “There was evening, and there was morning”. There is always a new day. There is an opportunity to do things differently. There is new hope as the sun rises, and things often look brighter as that sun rises.
I’ve watched some unfortunate things play out over the past few days with people I care about. I watched as words were used to hurt and accuse, and my heart aches. Satan has found a nice little playground and has been inviting people in, and unfortunately, he has managed to get many to play. I’ve been lifting prayers for Father to intervene, to close the playground, and to restore calm in a difficult situation.
I will continue to lift the prayers and friends, I ask that you lift prayers as well. I think this world needs so many right now. Things out of our control should not be sources of anger and ugliness. Things out of our control provide opportunities for prayer, reflection, and courage to face difficult times. Taking a step back and asking Jesus to give clarity to a situation can work wonders.
There are going to be challenges in this life. We have all been through them. How we choose to navigate them is the key. We can choose to think we know everything and can control the outcome, which is where I believe satan has the field day. Orβ¦we can surrender the challenge, the fears, the anger, and anxiety to Father and let Him carry us through. I like the latter option π .
I will continue to lift prayers as this new day begins. Prayers for calm and patience, prayers for strength, and Father’s love to overcome. I encourage you to do the same as we begin a new day. Whatever challenges come, know that our Lord is there, if we but ask.
Romans 12:12
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
