Being Productive

I pretty much ask Father every day to guide me to do His work, as I work. There are those days when I look at the clock and wonder where they day went and wonder just what have I accomplished. Don’t get me wrong there is usually a list of things I’ve “done”, but did I accomplish much, ahh…that yes is the question.

This morning as I was reading through some prayers, I found one that spoke to me, especially about the workday. I share it here with you my friends in hopes that we all may feel we were productive when the day comes to a close.

Heavenly Father, I dedicate this day to You, seeking productivity and purpose in whatever I do. Help me to focus on the things at hand, giving my all for Your honor. Let my job reflect Your perfection and be fruitful, as I honor the gifts You have given me. Grant me the insight to prioritize what is important and the strength to endure.

May I work diligently, knowing that my labor is not in vain when it’s done unto You. Remind me, Lord, that true productivity lies not in mere accomplishments but in fulfilling the purpose You have set before me. Thank You for the opportunities of this day, and may everything I do bring You honor. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Have a great day my friends, continued prayers for sweet Emily Rea’s return.

Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
