Here we go, the start of a new week. I gave thanks this morning as I talked with Father. Of course, I give thanks every day, but I usually start my Mondays by giving thanks for a new week. It’s a chance to grow closer to Him through whatever may come. Mondays get a bad rap sometimes, but I think if we change how we look at them, they may not seem so bad :-).

As I was reading some prayers to start my week, I found this one that I thought I would share with you all. It’s a good way to look towards Monday, the beginning of a new week.

Dear Heavenly Father, As I greet this new day, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the gift of life and the dawn of a new week. I place my trust in Your unfailing love, knowing that it is the anchor of my faith and the source of my strength.

Lord, in the quiet of this morning, I seek Your guidance and wisdom. Show me the way I should go as I navigate the challenges and opportunities that this week holds. Illuminate my path with Your light, and grant me the discernment to make choices that align with Your will.

I entrust my life and the experiences of this week into Your loving hands. May my actions and interactions reflect Your love and grace. Use me as an instrument of Your peace and a channel of Your blessings to those I encounter.

Lord, help me to find joy in the journey, hope in the uncertainties, and purpose in each moment. May this Monday morning prayer set the tone for a week filled with Your presence, Your guidance, and Your unfailing love. In Jesus holy name, I pray. Amen
