Holy Week

Yesterday we began Holy Week with Palm Sunday. I’m focusing this year on trying to be more present during this week to remember our Lord’s Passion and Death. Jesus gave everything for me, for us, and I’m going to do my best to remember the days leading up to and through it.

I simply share the Lord’s Prayer this morning as we begin the week. I encourage you to take time each day this week to reflect on the walk He made. A difficult walk, and in the end a brutal death. Even though brutal, He still asked, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do”.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen
