If you are new to reading this little blog you might not know the story behind the prayers I call for pretty regularly, for sweet Emily Rea. Emily is a niece of a good friend of mine. She has been missing since July 16, 2024, when she went paddle boarding in the Hungry Horse Reservoir in Montana. Her paddleboard was found down creek almost 2 miles but no Emily. After months and months of searching, following up on hundreds of leads, using divers, dogs, and countless volunteers, our sweet Emily Rea is still missing.
As you can imagine it got difficult through the winter to search physically, however, that hasn’t stopped the team of volunteers and authorities who continue to be on the case. Yesterday we got an update through the Facebook group set up for her last year, “Search for Emily Rea”. Please follow this page if you are on social media. I wanted to share the update here to let everyone know that the search continues. In the update yesterday, the team is calling for continued prayers, and I know all of you who read this little blog lift them whenever I come here with requests. So, I’m requesting this morning, please continue to pray daily for Emily Rea’s return. Father knows where she is, ask that He lift her so that the authorities may see her and return her home to her family.

We want to thank you for your continued love, support, and prayers. While our page has been quiet, please know that the work to find and bring Emily home has been ongoing.
Over the winter, our team has been working diligently—dealing with legal aspects, accounts & reams of paperwork, organizing information, advocating, and preparing for a renewed push after the thaw.
We are still here. Still searching. Optimistic that she will be found.
To those who hold Emily in your hearts and prayers—thank you. It matters more than you know!
