Sweet Emily Rea

If you’ve been following this little blog for the past year you know that I’ve often asked for prayers for sweet Emily Rea. Emily is the niece of a dear friend of mine and she went missing on July 16th, 2024. She went to paddleboat at a Montana reservoir where she frequently did so. You can read more about her story in the first little blog I wrote here.

At Christmas time Emily’s mom Nina posted a heartfelt update.  You can read her sweet message in this little blog.

This morning I come to this little blog with yet another update. Emily’s friends and family are gathering today at the Whitefish United Methodist Church in Whitefish, MT for a rally. This rally is to bring family, friends, and the community back together, now that the winter weather has faded, to begin anew the search for sweet Emily Rea.

Friends, please lift your prayers high today for all those who are giving of themselves to help find this sweet soul. We need to shake the doors of Heaven to ask Father for eyes to see and ears to hear as the search begins again.  This child of His is out there, He knows where she is, let us ask for guidance to find her and bring her home.

If you would like to watch the rally today, which begins at 10:30 a.m. MT, you can watch it on YouTube here. Click on the “live” link on the page to watch the live video feed.

Continue to lift prayers my friends that our Lord will guide these volunteers to where Emily is. Never stop praying, and never lose faith.

Heavenly Father, please be with your children today and in the days to come. Those who are searching for Emily Rea, please give them eyes to see and ears to hear. Open new pathways as they search. Help them to leave no stone unturned. Guide them and protect them.  Father you know where Emily is, please Lord lift her that those searching may see her.  Bring her home to her family Lord. In Jesus Holy Name we pray. Amen.

Matthew 21:22
And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
