Our relationship with Father isn’t rocket science. That’s an interesting way to start this little blog, isn’t it? What I mean is, that He is here with us, He’s right here waiting for us to call on Him.

This morning as I sat down outside, I rubbed my little wooden cross in my fingers and said, “Good morning Father”. I heard, “Good morning my child”. Made me smile 🙂 . I asked as I do many mornings, “What message can I share for you today in my little blog”. Do you know what happened next? Well, the chorus from James Taylor’s song You’ve Got a Friend started playing in my head. Now how weird is that? No really it isn’t, it’s Father at work.

I believe the Lord just simply wanted me to share here today that whenever we need Him, we just need to call on His name. And…as the song says, “You just call out my name and you know wherever I am, I’ll come running”. It really is that simple. Hence me saying earlier our relationship with the Lord isn’t rocket science, although sometimes we can make it more complicated.

Just a fun little example this morning friends of how close we truly are to Father. Don’t make things more difficult than they are. He knows everything about us. He knows our faults, our sins, (yes, before we even commit them), He knows our hearts. And…He knows that we are not perfect. So, don’t pretend, just call on Him and let Him into your heart.
