INSPIRASUNS

This morning, friends, I come to this little blog with a request. As I look back on this week, I’ve seen so many who are hurting. Some friends have health issues causing physical pain, some who are saying goodbye to loved ones and their hearts ache, others are dealing with uncertainty in their jobs. I think we all know someone who is dealing with pain, whether physical or the aching of their heart.

I don’t know of any better way to help those we love and care about than to pray for them. More importantly, to pray with trust in Father to heal the physical, emotional, and heartache they feel. We must believe in the incredible healing power that comes only from our Lord. Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14). I know there are times when we feel that our prayers aren’t being answered, and I wonder if it’s because we aren’t truly believing in the power of those prayers. Perhaps we’re merely reciting them and moving on, rather than placing our full trust in the healing power available to us.

So, friends, this morning let’s say a prayer for all those who need healing today. I’m sure you have friends or family in mind who just need the strength to get through the day.

Heavenly Father, we come before you this morning to ask for healing of those we know and love. So many of your children are in pain, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Father, please wrap Your loving arms around Your children, infuse Your healing power into their hearts, minds, and physical bodies. We trust in You, Lord, to heal and restore. Let the pain they feel melt away at Your touch. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

If you are going through something that is causing pain, whether physical or otherwise, I hope this simple prayer brings comfort and healing. Know that our Lord is with you and know that He has the power to heal all wounds, trust in Him.
