Happy Saturday, everyone. You know me, a little later start, a little longer morning chat with Father, a little less routine to enjoy this beautiful morning.
This morning, I did just a few little things around the house. Tended to some plants outside, listened to the birds as they went about their morning search for food. Yes, Saturday mornings they are one of my favorite times of the day 🙂 .
This morning, I’d like to share this brief reflection on Jesus. I’ve read it before, and this morning I found it again as a comment on one of the songs I was listening to.
The greatest man in history is Jesus.
He had no servant, yet they called him master.
He had no degree, yet they called him teacher.
He had no medicines, yet they called him healer.
He had no army, yet kings feared him.
He won no military battle, yet he conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet he lives Today.
He was not only the greatest man in history, He is my Lord. Thank you, Jesus, for giving your life for me and for blessing me with the gift of this beautiful day.
Have a great day, my friends. Oh, and that song I was listening to is an amazing rendition of ‘The Goodness of God’ by CeCe Winans. God gave an incredible gift to this sweet woman. Enjoy 🙂
