Oh yes, the dreaded computer updates. I fell victim to them this morning. It has thrown off my whole schedule today. Sooo…this little blog might be even littler this morning 🙂 .
As my computer popped up with the message today, “Your device will restart in 5 minutes”, I thought, “Seriously?”. Why are you telling me when my device will restart? Yes, yes, I know you can take the time to tell the device that you don’t want to do that, but really? Sorry, yes, cranky pants I am this morning, and the updating of devices is for another blog!
Now, as I sit here typing this, sharing with all of you about my “fun” times this morning, I realize I really do need to just take a breath, ask Father for a little patience, and get on with the day. This is a little blip, and hello, take your own advice and give the challenges to the Lord, no matter how big or small.
Yes, friends, He was probably noodling me this morning, wondering just how this child of His might handle a little unexpected blip. Well, I didn’t handle it well at first. Not until I came here to share His message did I realize how I was letting it affect me. Isn’t it interesting how the Lord works? He puts challenges right in front of us to handle and overcome, and do you know what else He puts in front of us? HIM. He is right there with us and is just waiting for us to say, “Hey Lord, can you help me through this?”. Well, this morning it took a bit, but I got there.
So today, when the challenges pop up, when the unexpected updating of your device occurs, stop and ask Father to lend a hand through the challenge. He will be there, and I’m betting the updates will go quickly and smoothly.
Have a good day, friends, and continued prayers for the return of sweet Emily Rea.

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
